These are before and afters of me in my various dance dresses from High School as compared to me in the dress now.
Maybe you can’t see the differences in these photos but I sure notice them.
The first pictures I am thin no denying that. The original picture was taken in my sophomore year of High School 2010 I believe. First let’s start off by mentioning I fit in the dress which was a size 3 which is insane considering last year I was wearing a size 8. This picture was taken around the time I was at my lowest weight from unhealthy eating habits. But the picture next to it from now I look about the same but I just ate a full (large) dinner and even had dessert something I was scared to do back then. But the difference now is the majority of the time I take care of my body by eating the right things and exercising the right way.
The second pictures I am a junior in 2011. Again I might look about the same but looks can be deceiving in the original photo in 2011 I am wearing shapewear that is holding in my stomach and basically sucking my whole body in. In the second photo I am not wearing shapewear and I look pretty fucking fantastic, the difference is now I’m more comfortable in my skin and with what my body looks like.
The last pictures are from my senior year (2012) versus now. Putting on that dress a view minutes ago was weird because well it was loose. I didn’t think my body had changed that much in a year but I guess in had because on that day that dress was fricken tight. (okay tighter whatever sue me I like tight short dresses) But at this point in time I was a size 8 (abnormal for me I usually run about a size 4/6) now I’m probably a size 2/4. Crazy.
What’s the point of this? To show that one’s body goes through changes and one will gain and loose things naturally, and not all of these things are weight.
